Rodney Salter exhibits at "Shanghai Art Fair 2008"

Latest News The biggest art Fair in China takes place in Shanghai 10th to the 14th September 2008. Rodney Salter is represented by The Gallery Cinquini, who are exhibiting 3 pieces of sculpture by him on stand, "D 115".

　Since it was founded in 1997, the "Shanghai Art Fair has been elevated to the leading position in the Asian art market. With the addition of the simultaneous showing of the "International Contemporary Art Exhibition”, the Shanghai Art Fair is the first Asian fair opening together with a major exhibition.

As to the styles of exhibits, it will continue to be varied and abundant, concentrating on modern and contemporary art pieces well-accepted by both domestic and international collectors. The invitation model has been greatly changed this year, all the exhibiters participate by invitation only. It is believed that this new measure will lead to a higher quality Show.

Since its inaugeration 12 years ago the, "Shanghai Art Fair" now undoubtedly ranks as the most important in Asia due to its large scale and high international level, while the newly created show –“Shanghai Art Fair, International Contemporary Art Exhibition” received warm response and approval from all circles in the art world, with its new creative concepts and academic orientation. After its debut last year, it has won the reputation as the, "New Match Point" for the Asian Art Scene. The success of the show is contributed to the wide participation of the world’s top galleries, collectors and media. With this view, the committee synchronized the two fairs, with the aim of attracting the optimum of overseas art lovers. The principal fair thus strongly increasing its sales volume, strengthening the multi-cultural aspect and casting a more profound influence on the international art scene......
